Who, what & where
Louie Fontaine is a singer, guitarist and songwriter based in Spain. His music blends Americana, blues, country and art rock with a theatrical edge shaped by decades of live performance across Europe and the United States.
Over the years he has collaborated with Louisiana soul/R&B legend Rockie Charles, drummer Russell Batiste, bassist Daryl Johnson, and Grammy-winning producer Tony Daigle. His album The Sun Ain't Black was recorded at the legendary Dockside Studio in Louisiana.
With eight albums and hundreds of shows behind him, Fontaine is currently touring Spain with the No Way Back Tour 2026, joined by long-time bandmates Terry La Gaarde and Rick Heart.
